TREASURE was presented in the paper and oral presentation “Recycling of automotive waste for the recovery of precious and critical metals: Treasure Horizon 2020 project” of ‘Gricu 2022’ conference.

From 3rd to 6th July 2022, UNIVAQ participated in the paper and oral presentation “Recycling of automotive waste for the recovery of precious and critical metals: TREASURE Horizon2020 project” of ‘GRICU 2022’ conference which took place in Hotel Continental Terme in Ischia, Naples, Italy.

The conference was from 16:00 pm 6th July to 12:30 a.m 9th July. In addition to providing a broad overview of ongoing research activity at the various universities, the conference also addressed problems in the world of academia and chemical engineering.

The objectives of the conference can be summarised as follows:

– To present an overview of the research currently being carried out in Italy in the field of Chemical Engineering.

– To analyse the emerging sectors and the prospects for the development of Chemical Engineering in the new economic and productive scenarios, aware of the urgent need to use sustainable technologies and of the Energy, Environmental and Digital transitions.

– Offer space for PhD students and young researchers to discuss the results of the research carried out.

– Discuss research evaluation and teacher selection processes in the light of changes in ministerial direction.

– Discuss education systems and training activities in Chemical Engineering in the context of the changing needs of society.
